The summary of the thesis is one of the most important parts of the writing process. It can be a very important influence on the decision of the readers to read your thesis and the reader’s judgment about their quality and importance factor.
Write the summary at the end, after completing the final draft of your thesis. If you write it sooner there is a risk that is not as accurate as it should be.
Keep it short. Be precise and specific in the language you use. The abstract should be no more than two paragraphs long.
Indicates why your thesis is important and worth reading. You need to sell your work to the reader.
Give the reader an idea of what to expect, giving a context and an overview of the arguments or results.
Includes words and phrases that can be found on site. Thus, it is easier for a search engine highlight your thesis.
